Abstract

It is defined the varia-bility of 11 morphological features of vegetative and generative organs of 56 species of "The Red Book of Ukraine". It is determined that very low and low levels of variability are proper to 15 grass species with complete cycle of ontogenetic development, but low and middle levels to 10 species. Woody plants are characterized by low and middle range of variability of researched fea-tures, except the growth of shoots (this index is estimated by elevated, high and very high levels of variability) which is the most sensitive to influence of unfavorable environmental conditions.
