Biosphere Reserve "Askania Nova" Reports is a scientific, peer-reviewed journal specialized in biology and ecology. 

Founder: F. E. Falz-Fein Biosphere Reserve «Askania Nova» of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine.

According to the Decree of MES No. 1290 (Annex 3) dated November 30, 2021, the journal was included in Category B of the List of scientific professional publications of Ukraine in the specialty "091 – Biology".

Issues: protected area, bioecology; genetics, plant physiology and applied botany; hydrobiology; zoology.

Thematic scope: the journal publishes articles on nature conservation, conservation of natural diversity, biology, ecology, protection of rare species of plants and animals in nature and artificial conditions, steppe nature management, soil science, introduction, reintroduction.

Licensing conditions: authors reserve copyright and grant the publisher the right to publish original manuscripts, which present the findings of experimental and theoretical research and have not been published previously and have not been submitted for publication in other journals. All materials are distributed based on Creative Commons Attribution License International CC-BY. The license allows others to copy and redistribute the material giving appropriate credit.

Open Access Policy: Biosphere Reserve "Askania Nova" Reports follows the policy of open access. All articles are posted indefinitely and free of charge immediately after issue release. Real-time full-text access to the journal’s scientific articles is available on the official website in  Archives and Current.

The journal is included in the international scientometric database Index Copernicus International (Republic of Poland).
