NEW LOCATIONS OF SPECIES OF THE ORNITHOGALUM L. GENUS IN THE NORTH OF THE LEFT-BANK FOREST-STEPPE OF UKRAINE (CHERNIHOV REGION)

According to the results of the expeditions of 2007, 2011 and 2018 we identified a new Ornithogalum boucheanum (Kunth) Asch. locality and 2 new O. koсhii Parl. localities on the territory of the forest-steppe part of the Chernihiv region. The studied groups of plants are small and young; they are outside the conservation fund. To preserve the natural location of rare species and increase the number of their populations, it is necessary to carry out environmental protection measures such as to monitor the status of populations, to reduce the anthropogenic pressure and to conduct educational activities among the local people.
