INVESTIGATION OF SPECIES DIVERSITY OF BRYOPHYTES IN THE "OLEXANDRIA" DENDROLOGICAL PARK

Abstract

Bryophytes are one of inalienable components of flora and they play a noticeable role in forming of plant cover. Study of species bryophytes' diversity on territory of the "Olexandria" Dendrological Park to present time was carried out fragmentary. During 2017–2018 we studied the species bryophytes' composition of the western part of the "Olexandria" Dendropark. Results investigations showed that the species variety of bryophytes of the western part of the Dendropark counts 56 species on present time. The mosses of the western part of the Dendropark in a taxonomical relation are represented by 2 divisions Marchantiophyta (Liverworts) and Bryophyta (Mosses), by 3 classes, 11 orders, 23 families, 37 genera and 56 species. Leading families are Pottiaceae (7 species), Brachytheciaceae (7), Orthotrichaceae (6), Amblystegiaceae (6), Bryaceae (4), Grimmiaceae (4). These families count 34 species and make up 60,7% from a general number. Orthotrichum (6 species), Bryum (4), Tortula (4) and Grimmia (3 species) are the leading genera.
