INTRODUCTION OF SPECIES OF THE HOSTA TRATT. GENUS IN THE KREMENETS BOTANICAL GARDEN AND PROSPECTS OF THEIR USING IN THE LANDSCAPING

The paper presents the testing results of the valuable ornamental representatives of families Hosta Tratt. in conditions of the Kremenets botanical garden. The calendar terms of the phenological phases pass-ing and their duration, and morphological features and decorative qualities of plants are deter-mined. The success of the introduction of the species of Hosta genus is assessed in conditions of the botanical garden on the basis of received data. The prospects of using in the landscaping are identified.
